In Canada
I won't have many pictures up until Feb. 14th at the earliest as I left my camera cord in PDX after Christmas break and I won't be back until the 13th.
On another note, this past week was the week from Hell. It was the week that demonstrated that someone higher up hates me.
Monday was fine,
Tuesday was fine.
Wednesday Morning - 12:25am, feel a little bit nauseous and my sinus' were starting to congest. Took a hot shower in order to clear them, climbed into bed and proceeded to alternate between boiling hot and freezing cold all whilst having full body convulsions. Finally fall asleep at 4am only to wake up again at 6:30am and again at 8:30am where I finally decided to go to the clinic.Aches, pains, fatigue, runny nose, congestion and a fever of 100.7. Diagnosis - The Flu. Perscription - Rest, fluids and Tylenol for the next 3-4 days.
Thursday. Feeling much better and my fever is down to 99.5. Then 2:30pm hits. My right ear starts to tingle, a bit uncomfortably. I ignore it until 3:40pm when the tingle becomes a distinct pain. Ignore that until 4:35pm(which is an important time) when the distinct pain becomes downright AGONY. I used to get lots of Ear infections from the time i was a baby until about 5th or 6th grade. I have horrible sinus passages. It's a fact of life. But this one HURT. Immediately thought to go to the Clinic. Which closes at 4:30pm... That's out.. Take some Extra Strength Tylenol and hold out until 4:59pm when I start frantically calling every phone that my parents own/use. Finally get my dad and proceed to cry for the next 15 minutes while try's to distinguish what I am saying through my tears and a loud restaurant. Finally gets my mom to call at 5:38pm and she calms me down enough for me to realise that I could find a Walk-in Clinic or Urgent Care somewhere in Victoria. Until I discover there isn't any close. Think about the hospital but that would involve 3-4 hours in the ER. Call the BC Nurses Hotline, and then resolve to tough it out until 8:30am friday morning.
However fate steps in and at 8:20pm, my other ear erupts in agonizing pain. Cry myself to a semi-sleep by 4am.
Friday. Go to the doctor, diagnosed with a double ear infection. Get a prescription for antibiotics and a nasal spray. come back home and proceed to crash for the rest of the weekend.
Two other thing I should mention that went on that week. PMS! CRAMPS!
That's all. I'm going to bed now, for hopefully the first full night's sleep since Monday night.
